Breeze Airways is extending its network by introducing three new routes; one will connect two cities from which the airline already flies.
It is also interesting that Breeze will commence service from Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport in Mississippi to both Las Vegas and Tampa. Both of these destinations are in Florida.
The provision of such a service is scheduled to get underway sometime during the month of January.
“Breeze seeks to connect cities that currently don’t have any nonstop flight options,” said Tom Doxey, president of the airline, in a statement about the company’s plans. “Breeze” “Now residents of Gulfport and Biloxi will have convenient and affordable service to Las Vegas or Tampa, two of the country’s most popular destinations.”
However, the airline has decided to terminate service to one of the destinations it has been providing service to ever since it first started operations in 2021.
Beginning immediately, Breeze will no longer provide service to or depart from the Tulsa International Airport in any direction. In November, the firm will stop providing service on the only two routes it now operates from that site: Orlando and New Orleans.
On the other hand, Breeze will provide a connection between the Akron-Canton Airport in Ohio and the Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina. These two airports have proved to be crucial to the airline’s expansion throughout the years. February 2024 has been designated as the launch month for this service.
The airline will now have a combined total of 19 flights leaving from the two airports, which have traditionally served as the airline’s de facto hubs in the South and the Midwest. The airports are located in the United States of America.
